The Senate agreed to extend the reporting date for the inquiry
of the Environment, Communications and the Arts Committee into the
sexualisation of children in the media to 25 June 2008.

Membership
The Senate appointed Senator Stott Despoja as a member of the
Economics Committee to replace Senator Murray for the committee's
inquiry into Australia 's space science and industry sector.

The Special Minister of State (Senator Faulkner) made
a statement relating to the order of the Senate [agreed to on
15 May 2008 ] requiring the tabling of documents concerning
defence procurement projects, and tabled a letter from the Minister
