Public meeting
The Senate authorised the Rural and Regional Affairs and
Transport Committee to hold a public meeting while the Senate is
sitting on 10 November 2008 from 3.30pm for the committee’s
inquiry into the Interstate Road Transport Charge Amendment Bill
(No. 2) 2008 and a related bill.
Reporting dates extended
The Senate extended reporting dates for the following inquiries
of the Economics Committee:
- Joint marketing arrangements on the North West Shelf
project–to report by 1 December 2008
- Provisions of bills relating to economic regeneration
funding–to report by 1 December 2008
