The committee met from 9.00am until 10.30pm.
The committee called the department and agencies of the
Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
portfolio, including: the Equal Opportunity for Women in the
Workplace Agency.
The committee will meet on Tuesday, 3 June 2008 in Committee
Room 2S1, again calling the Families, Housing, Community Services
and Indigenous Affairs portfolio, commencing with the
department.
Economics Committee
Portfolios allocated: Innovation, Industry,
Science and Research; Resources, Energy and Tourism; Treasury

- the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research;
and
- the department and agencies of the Resources, Energy and
Tourism portfolio, including Geoscience Australia and Tourism

Room 2R1:
- again calling the Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
portfolio; commencing with the department; and
- calling the department and agencies of the Treasury portfolio,
commencing with the department.
