Services and Indigenous Affairs; Health and Ageing

The committee met from 9.05am until 11.00pm.
The committee again called the department and
agencies of the Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
portfolio.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 31 May 2007 in
Committee Room 2S1, calling the Health and Ageing portfolio,
commencing with the department.
Economics Committee
Portfolios allocated: Industry, Tourism and
Resources; Treasury

information about the committee's hearings
The committee met from 9.00am until 10.35pm.
The committee called the department and
agencies of the Treasury portfolio, including: the Australian
Prudential Regulation Authority, the Australian Taxation Office and
the Inspector-General of Taxation.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 30 May 2007 in
Committee Room 2R1, again calling the Treasury portfolio,
commencing with the Australian Competition and Consumer
Commission
The committee will not be calling the Australian Office of
Financial Management.
Employment, Workplace Relations and Education Committee
Portfolios allocated: Employment and Workplace
Relations; Education, Science and Training

The committee met from 9.00am until 10.57pm.
The committee:
- again called the department and agencies of
the Employment and Workplace Relations portfolio, and
- did not require Comcare or the Australian
Building and Construction Commission.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 30 May 2007 in
Committee Room 2S3, calling the Education, Science and Training
portfolio, commencing with the Australian Research Council.
Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee

Trade; Defence (including Veterans' Affairs)

The committee called the department and
agencies of the Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 30 May 2007 in the
Main Committee Room, calling the Defence portfolio, commencing with
the department.
