The committee met from 9.05am until 11pm.
The committee called the department and
agencies of the Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
portfolio.
The committee will next meet on Tuesday, 13 February 2007 in
House of Representatives Committee Room 2R1, calling the Health and
Ageing portfolio, commencing with the department.
Environment, Communications, Information Technology and
the Arts Committee

Information Technology and the Arts; Environment and Water

The committee called the department and
agencies of the Communications, Information Technology and the Arts
portfolio, including: Australia Post, Australian Communications and
Media Authority, Special Broadcasting Service and the Australian
Broadcasting Corporation.
The committee will next meet on Tuesday, 13 February 2007 in
Senate Committee Room 2S3, calling the:
- Communications, Information Technology and the Arts portfolio,
commencing with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation; and
- Environment and Water Resources portfolio, commencing with
Outcome 2
Finance and Public Administration
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Finance and
Administration; Human Services; Parliament; Prime Minister and
Cabinet

The committee met from 9.02am until 11.01pm.
The committee:
- called the Parliamentary departments, and the
department and agencies of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
portfolio, including the Office of the Official Secretary to the
Governor-General; and
- did not require the Office of the Commonwealth
Ombudsman, the Office of National Assessments, the Australian
National Audit Office and the Australian Public Service
Commission.
The committee will next meet on Tuesday 13 February 2007 in
Senate Committee Room 2S1, calling the:
- Finance and Administration portfolio, commencing with the
department; and
- Human Services portfolio, commencing with Centrelink.
Legal and Constitutional Affairs
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Attorney-General;
Immigration and Citizenship
For current
information about the committee’s hearings
The committee met from 9am until 9.31pm.
The committee:
- called the department and agencies of the
Immigration and Citizenship portfolio, including the Migration
Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal; and
- did not require outputs 1.4 and 2.2 of the
department.
The committee will next meet on Tuesday, 13 February 2007 in the
Main Committee Room, calling the Attorney-General’s
portfolio, commencing with the department.
