information about the consideration of the 2005-06
additional estimates (membership of committees, portfolio
allocation, terms of reference etc.) is available on the Senate web
page.
An
agenda for each of the legislation committees listed below
is available on the Senate webpage and will be updated as
necessary.
The Senate Daily Summary will be published each day
after the legislation committees meet. The Summary will give a
brief overview on the progress made by each committee and the
business each committee expects to consider the next day.
Environment, Communications, Information Technology and
the Arts Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Communications, Information
Technology and the Arts; Environment and Heritage
For current

The committee met from 9.08am until 11.13pm.
The committee:
- commenced the Communications, Information
Technology and the Arts portfolio (completed outcome 3 of the
department, Australia Post, Telstra, and outputs 3.4 and 3.5)
- will continue the Communications, Information
Technology and the Arts portfolio (outputs 3.2 and 3.3, outcomes 1
and 2) and
- will commence the Environment and Heritage
portfolio (outcomes 1 and 2) when it meets on Tuesday 14
February 2006 in Senate Committee Room 2S3
Finance and Public Administration Legislation

Administration; Parliament; Prime Minister and Cabinet
