    to: introduce mandatory continuous adjustment of family tax benefit rates in certain circumstances; cease fortnightly family tax benefit and past period payments in the same income year when income tax returns are not lodged; and enable information sharing between the Australian Taxation Office and Centrelink for reconciliation and debt offsetting purposes.

    to: lower the maximum child age of eligibility for family tax benefit (FTB) Part A from 24 to 21 years of age from 1 January 2012; and pause indexation for the: higher income free area for FTB Part A; FTB Part B income limit; and baby bonus income limit;
    Paid Parental Leave Act 2010
    to extend the commencement date for indexation of the paid parental leave income limit;
    Social Security Act 1991
    to require people to test their future work capacity by participating in training or work-related activities in order to qualify for the disability support pension;

    to: remove the minimum rate of child care benefit (CCB); increase the child care tax rebate (CCTR) to 50 per cent, provide for it to be paid quarterly and increase the annual limit to $7,500; and make amendments in relation to: weekly limits of hours for the purposes of CCB; automatic review of CCTR decisions; publishing information relating to sanctions or suspensions of approved child care service’s approval; allocation of child care places; approved child care services providing certain periodic statements; delegation of the secretary’s powers; infringement notices; and technical amendments relating to the Child Care Management System; and
